TV Broadcast: Mini drone at national park

The UAV AscTec Falcon 8 has been used in the national park Neusiedler See-Seewinkel to take high resolution aerial images. Due to its low noise and emission free electric motors this UAV was perfect for taking these pictures which are used for public relations, education, area management and several research projects.

The size of national park area is approx. 300 sqkm and is located in the region called "Burgenland", Austria. It had been listed by IUCN and is Austrian's first cross border national park.

UAVs such as the AscTec Falcon 8 are perfect for working in such sensitive areas, minimising the impact on the flora and fauna.

This exercise had been recorded by the major Austrian broadcasting company. They broadcasted a 3 minute TV report on August, the 24th 2010.
