The AscTec Funpilot is the successor of the X-3D Quad-rotor, which has already for years offered 3D flying capabilities in the realm of quad-rotors (hence the name). Normally after a "hard" landing with a model R/C helicopter pilots have a problem to continue their flying (bent fly-bars, mainshafts, etc.), but with the AscTec Funpilot you simply pick it back up and continue flying! The characteristic of not requiring repairs often after a mishap, this allows the fun to be more accessible to everyone. Should you have a bad crash, you are able to acquire new parts (from example a boom from the chassis) at good price and in short time allowing you fly again quickly.
