UAV Surveying & Mapping


For UAV- / drone-based land surveying and mapping the precision UAS AscTec Falcon 8 offers high area output and remarkable position accuracy. Thereby, our UAS represents a very efficient supplement to traditional survey methods like terrestrial measurement with laser scanning and total station monitoring, measuring vehicles or fixed-wing UAV and planes.

Due to Quick Survey function: Simply enter the required ground sample distance (GSD), define coordinates of start and final angle: The AscTec Falcon 8 will automatically adjust flight altitude, speed, GPS-based photo positions and overlapping to provide the wanted results with an optimised output in best time. The drone will do auto-shots while flying high-speed and provide detailed information due to precisely controlled photo positions and a perfectly oriented aircraft system, despite permanent dynamics.

So you can produce actionable data by surveying land, areas and objects for preparation of site plans, contour maps and summary of existing condition at the beginning of project by orthophotos, photogrammetry, 3-D modelling, point clouds or volume calculations. Areas will be flown over exactly according to your settings and requirements.
