It only needs attitude commands either by R/C or the wireless serial interface. Hence, the system is perfect for all kinds of self  developed positioning applications.

With its magnesium alloy/ CFRP sandwich construction the AscTec Hummingbird is extremely lightweight and robust at the same time. Most crashes will leave no damage to the system.
